After 21 years of service, our Whirlpool refrigerator gave up the ghost. I was then given the task of finding a suitable replacement. I went to our local dealer and spent over 2 hours of reviewing options and customer comments concerning their pros and cons of their product selection. My wife and I had a proven list of layouts, options, and of course, afterwards support. The choice of our new Frigidaire has been working out to our complete satisfaction. The refrigerator is fine, but the documentation and customer service are terrible. The only thing customer support could offer in response to a simple question about leveling the appliance was to send a tech to our home. The owner's manual describes a leveling device. The refrigerator does not appear to have one, and support could not give any information on whether this is actually the case or if I'm just looking in the wrong place.

Compressor on new unit blew in three days! Horrible customer service

I have had the absolute worst experience with both the product and customer service. The new refrigerator I purchased blew out its compressor within three days. I lost $500 worth of food, and now have a completely non-functioning unit. I called the support team, who sent out a technician who confirmed the compressor was broken. I then did not receive any follow up. I called the technician back, who said he was not able to find the part needed from Frigidaire; indeed, the part wasn't even listed on the website. I called Frigidaire back to follow up, and had a horrible customer service experience. The agent argued with me, would not help find a solution, and just insisted that some other department needed to provide a part number. I requested that that department be called immediately and was told that the department could only be reached by email and that it would take 3 business days to even get a response if a part number was available; then it would take 10 business days to order a part, and then more time to have the unit repaired. I PURCHASED AND PAID FOR A COMPLETELY NEW UNIT, NOT A REPAIRED ONE! I do not want a repaired refrigerator. I deserve a new unit as that is what I contracted to purchase. I asked the agent to escalate my call to the manager, and for 10 minutes the agent refused to do so. Once I was able to speak with the manager, that manager also claimed there was nothing else that could be done except send an email to this parts department. It is such an ineffectual, corporate process that completely ignores the customer™€™s needs. The manager then argued with me for 20 minutes rather than tried to help find a solution. I purchased the unit on October 22, it was installed on October 25- it is currently November 18 and it looks like I will be without a refrigerator for at least another two weeks due to non-helpful employees. It is completely unacceptable to have paid almost $1700 for a new refrigerator and to be without one for a month and a half. When I then asked the manager for an email address and/or to which I could submit a complaint, I was told no such thing existed and I would have to mail a hard copy letter. This again is completely unacceptable. It is outrageous that Frigidaire is doing nothing to alleviate this situation. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product, and will encourage others to think twice before doing so as the lack of service is appalling.

My one slight complaint against this refrigerator is that the water dispenser dispenses water that is only slightly cooler than tap water. My one surprise is that, even though the ice dispenser seems to take up 1/4 of freezer space, the rest of the freezer has more room than I expected. Overall, I'm happy with the new refrigerator.

The fridge is compact but still spacious. The freezer bottom allows for extra space with the drawers and I like that the ice is in a separate space. I live in a small Condo and had been using a freezer top refrigerator that was cheap and freezing any food that was placed in the back. You get what you pay for. I didn't buy it, but I knew it was a cheap piece of junk and it had to go before my knees did. Bending down to the floor to see in my refrigerator, was getting old quick. Who ever though that was a good design idea was crazy! I was looking for a modern style fridge on top that would fit my small kitchen. Found this one, bought it and received it, and couldn't be more pleased. It's beautiful, and doesn't show smudges. Didn't think this was possible because I've seen others that claimed this but didn't live up to it, these newer finishes absolutely don't show smudges. This is very roomy inside with lots of useable space, although we took out one of the shelves, and so bright and well lit inside. I also love that the fresh water spicket is inside because it doesn't take up valuable inside space. I can also get pots and pans to it easily. I didn't think I would like not having a front handle either, but I do, it is much prettier and it isn't needed at all. Freezer is a wee bit smaller than I would like, and the ice maker is pretty big, which for us is a good thing. But you get so many upgraded features with this model that most charge so much more to have, or don't even include for the same price! It's a trusted name too. I looked at other models I had never heard of that were less in price than this one and glad I didn't buy one. When I went to look at them in the store, they were flimsy and cheap looking. I just knew they would be trouble. This model is a sleek, sturdy, powerhouse of a refrigerator. Really jazzed up my kitchen and I just love it.

I gave this 4 out of five stars because of no handle on the door. There's an indentation at the top for you to be able to open the refrigerator portion. But I'm just short enough that I have to stretch to be able to open it. It would have been handy to have that same indentation on the side of the door to facilitate opening easier. I can't imagine a child opening that door without getting fingerprints all over the side because there is no handle. After a couple of weeks we also have dirty hand prints on the top and the side already.

My wife and I bought our town home in 2018 and the Frigidaire that was in the house was produced in 2003. After 21 years it was time for a new one and finding a fridge that fit in the space we had was always on our mind. This fridge is perfect fit and having a top fridge is so nice as a six foot man not having to bend over is so nice. There is so much space in the fridge and on doors. The ice maker is HUGE. This is the perfect size for a family of three. The refrigerator is so quiet that who can not tell when it is running. Best refrigerator that I have ever purchased.

Bottom freezer small space fridge

I needed to find a fridge that fit in 30" and I wanted a bottom freezer model. This fit the requirements and I love it. The refrigerator section is very roomy and I love that all the food is eye level and visible. Only complaint is that the door tends to stay open unless you give it a good close....it is not self closing. But overall I am happy we purchased it. Freezer is roomy but hard to organize since it is pullout drawer.

I'm very pleased with it. We needed a certain width and height to fit the space and this fits perfectly. It is very sleek(,no handles) and smudge-proof finish.. It is very quiet and I love the sleek and narrow door bins that hold a lot. It's very roomy for its size and has a very convenient water dispenser on the inside. So far I am very satisfied with the purchase.

One Terrific Refrigerator!

Could not be happier with this model. it purrs, unlike the aging refrigerator we had for years. It was easy for the delivery guys to put it in place, plug it in, and instantly become part of the kitchen. Freezer drawer on the bottom is easy to pull out and large enough for everything that needs freezing. I give it five stars!
