The Pros...Love the look, style, and convenience of drawers, with pull out and adjustable shelves. Warranty is 5 years Parts and Labor. The Cons...Temperature alarm seems to go off, (several times a week)for no reasons. Annoying. Ice Maker, has very poor production. Had it replaced. Very Disapointing. Ice Dispenser, does not always dispense all ice left in the shoot. Will have 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of melted ice/ water dispensed upon next glass to get ice. Frustrating having to empty a 1/2 glass of water when trying to get ice. Water dispenser, will dispense water automatically without being touched. Has happened 3 times. Luckily we were home and able to get the water shut off before it flooded the kitchen/house. Control panel has been replaced. Scary. Overall, I would recommend Bosch, but I Would not recommend this model until these issues are addressed. Seems to totally be related to the entire ice maker system and control panel.

Refrigerator looks great, but it is really small - another refrigerator is necessary in the garage. Ice cube door dispenser shoots ice in every direction when using. No way to control it. Water filter replacements are very expensive.

We replaced a unit from another company that did not stand up with several motherhoods needing replacement. We are enjoying this new refrigerator which has better storage capabilities than anything else that we looked at. The one thing that we wished had been included was the ability to auto fill glasses of water. Having to hold the button is time consuming. Other than that one thing this is a perfect machine.

Outstanding product! Read the manual and follow all directions, especially the ice maker. We use a lot of ice and must leave the quick ice feature on all the time. Removal of the ice tray and water filter takes a great deal of force for us old folks, however. Fridge performance is exactly as advertised! Highly recommended!

Warm Refrigerator, no ice, freezer over froozen

I have had this refrigerator for 3 years and it worked fine up until a month ago. The refrigerator went warm on me and the icemaker stopped making ice. This is a "frost free" refrigerator but when I went online apprently the condensor freezes up and needs to be defrosted. I called a tech and he defrosted the condenser and I was back in business, so I thought. 3 weeks later the same thing happened again. So I called anohter tech and he stated that the multi-flow damper is failed in the closed position. When I asked how long it will take to get a new damper the office stated that it would take 2 months to get the part. Needless to say I am without a refrigerator for 2 months. BOSCH doesn't have the part in the U.S. This is the second BOSCH appliance that has failed in the last 3 years in my newly remodeled kitchen. Last year my drawer microwave oven failed and needed parts that took 10 weeks to get. All I can say is BOSCH ain't all that. I am disappointed that BOSCH has not kept up to it name or its reputation. Now I am just waiting now for my BOSCH dishwasher to fail me. The appliances look great just are not reliable.

Also someone needs to be charged with verifying that the authorized repair facilities actually work on Bosch appliances. In my area, most of those listed did not work on Boasch appliances.

My husband and I paid extra when we built our house for the Bosch appliances thinking that we would be in for a treat when we moved it. We have been in our house for almost a year and we enjoy the range but the fridge, well, that's a different story. First of all, the buttons on the fridge to dispense the ice/water are awful. You have to push them multiple times for them to register your fingers. It's not practical to be holding a baby and trying to push and hold the water button-- you literally need two hands any time you need ice and/or water. Secondly, the ice machine is worse than any ice machine on any fridge I've ever used. It gets jammed up with ice weekly and ice comes shooting out of the ice dispenser from all different directions. So unless I'm holding my cup up directly to the dispenser, I have to pick up ice from the floor. We haven't even had this fridge for a year and we are already looking for something else. We had a much cheaper fridge in our previous house and we liked that one significantly more.

Ice would not come out

Brand new and the ice chute door would not open. Ice would back up into the refrigerator. Looked for warranty service person and the only one in our area per Bosch had a 1 star rating and people said they would never let the person in there house. I fixed the ice maker flapper door myself, it was not even installed on the motor shaft. Bosch came highly recommended but if this is what they produce I would reconsider their brand.

Really like this frig! I wasn't sure of the capacity when shopping for a new frig, but it fits everything I need. I like that it came with a plastic ice bin for the freezer. Very easy to dump ice from upper ice cube maker to freezer. Makes prep for parties easy. Shelves are adjustable which made it easy for me to set it up the way I need it. I would like there to be more light in the frig, but I've gotten used to the LED lights and not as much of an issue as when first got it. Love the in door water and ice.

Great Refrigerator Terrible Ice Dispenser

We have owned our Bosch 800 Series refrigerator for about 2.5 years. Most everything about it works great. The lone exception is the ice dispenser, which brings the rating down. It is TERRIBLE! It self-jams multiple times every day, often with little ice in the bin. The problem seems to be the drive screw mechanism and delivery chute designs are mismatched. The drive brings much more ice to the front faster than the chute can deal with it, so it jams. This system needs to be redesigned so the 800 Series can be a very good, complete package.

A bit of a learning curve to make the right temperature adjustments. Stainless scratches easily-particularly when wearing rings. I would like the right hand door to close more securely.

When we purchased the BOSCH brand I was looking forward to getting them, my impression of them were they were a higher end brand. However I am not impressed with this BOSCH refrigertor like I thought I would be. The door alarm is constiantly going off because the left door didnt close all the way. It is very frusterating. If the right side is closed and I close the left side the pressure from the right being closed doesnt alow it to close properly. I also am not happy with the control panel for the water/ice dispencer. I have to push the ice button several times before it activates. If anything gets pushed to the back of the middle and top shelves, the items freeze and I only have it set on 39 degrees. However I do like the size of the freezer and the design of the draw compared to other bottom freezers.

This thing has been repaired 2x for the ice maker. It hasn't worked since it was installed. The bins are cheap and flimsy, the two of the tops of the bins are loose and one completely came off. The shelves are horribly placed and there is hardly ANY room for tall bottles. It does keee things fresh longer, but that is it's only good thing. HATE IT. Would return it if I could. The ads that it produces all this ice for water are a JOKE. Good luck with that.

Moved from a 32 cf refrigerator to this 26 cf has been a bit frustrating. Getting used to the smaller size, but really do not like the ice maker configuration. It takes up an inordinate amount of space and makes 1 shelf nearly un-useable. The vegetable drawers are large, although to open the right hand side fully, one must open both doors of the refrigerator. The freezer is large and easy use. Bought this because the rest of the kitchen appliances are Bosch. Not sure I would do it again.

The fridge cools very well. The temperatures seem accurate to what they are supposed to be. The water dispenser pump is louder than anticipated. And the doors are oddly light and don't stay closed as well as we thought they should. Other than the large icemaker space, the space is well thought-out inside.

We purchased this BOSCH refrigerator and have been beyond disappointed. The ice maker tends to get stuck and it produces a very small amount of ice on a daily basis. We were told that opening the door to access the refrigerator is causing condensation in the ice maker so everyday we have to empty the ice in an ice bucket in freezer and break up the large clump that has formed due to the condensation. It does however keep a good, solid temperature and we have been happy that our food stays cold. But all in all, very unhappy with this as we had high expectations due to the BOSCH name.

The fridge has beautiful clean lines outside and inside! It has a huge amount of space on the inside, especially compared to our okd side by side. It operates wuetly. The touch controls are intuitive. The doors ooen and shut with ease. The interior is very well lighted. The freeer storage is huge, we can fit frozen ouzzas, and there is enough room for an extra ice bucket full of ice. Can't say enough about fhis fantastic fridge!

I only wished I knew how noisy this refrigerator was before we bought it !!!! The technician said there was nothing to do about it, that's the way it is. Out of 7 appliances we only have regrets on 2, this refrigerator and the microwave (but I will review it later) the dishwasher is ever so quiet, the ovens are amazing, the vent is awesome and love the cooktop. But there are times the refrigerator is louder than the TV !!!

Love the assessiblity to foods and all the wonderful storage. Ice making could use improvement because of "floaters" dispensed by Ice maker.

French Door Bottom Mount - B26FT50SNS refrigerator

We have owned a few refrigerators but the Bosh B26FT50SNS is far superior to any other we have owned. The outside appearance is a clean look with temperature controls, ice and water dispenser on the door. There is always plenty of ice. It's is very roomy inside and has easy adjustable shelves. The inside temperatures remain stable and keeps food fresher longer. The freeze has sub zero settings and also keeps frozen foods longer and is frost free. We also own other BOSCH appliances for many years a they are reliable and so far have never required any type of repair. Their customer service is excellent and a great source for questions on operation and care. We are very happy with our selections from the Bosch family of appliances.

Do not buy

Two very bad things: 01 Water dispensor: Water slows to a trickel every 4-6 months unless you buy a new water filter. This will cost you minium $10 a month just to keep water flowing. Its like a fridge that comes with a monthly bill and if you don't pay it, they turn the water off. 02 Alarm: There is no way to permentaly disable the alarm. I've read the manual and spoken to customer service, you can't disable it. If that isn't annoying enough, our door sensor is broken so it goes off in the middle of the night and wakes people up! Do not buy this refridgerator.
