Microwave was installed into new home. It never worked correctly. Display would go out when the right side of microwave was used. After several repair visits, the solution was not to use those functions as it is a known problem and can't be repaired. Two years after having this microwave as well, the handle fell off the door and this is not an easy or a cheap repair. This microwave is all around poor quality and the company really doesn't back the product.

It came with our house (so I didn't do any kind of shopping around/price comparison). It took us way too long to understand how all the buttons worked. Once you get over the learning curve, it's a perfectly fine microwave. It looks sleek and seems more efficient at heating some foods than our old microwave.I've only used it for 4 months.

I™™ve never had a toaster oven/microwave before so when my builder had this installed I was beyond excited. I™™ve never even had a toaster oven so I was excited to use this and it did not disappoint! Great product!

We purchased a home and Electrolux was the brand the builder uses. Within 3 days our Microwave shorted out. We are told the group of buttons on the right side short out the Microwave. So we now have a sticky note in our beautiful new kitchen so people don™™t use those functions.

I actually got this microwave as a replacement for the previous one that was in my house when I purchased it brand new. That one broke down five times and then the handle fell off. Electrolux finally agreed to replace it since I had five year warranty on it. But they made me go through Brandsmart which is the worst retail establishment in the state of Georgia. It took three months to get a new microwave from Brandsmart. I refuse to get any kind of extended warranty on this one because I know it's not gonna last past a year anyway. And I will never deal with Brandsmart for any reason ever again

Came with my brand new construction. Worked well for a couple months then had an issue where the screen seemed to freeze--not completely turn off but wouldn't take numbers when i tried to submit a time. Reset the breaker and seems to work okay now. Besides this one incident no issues

This is like oven + microwave+ airfryer. At first the controls might be confusing because there are so many different options. It also comes with recipe book to help you how to use it. For those people who work and have to cook, this will help you a lot since you just have to prep and hit a button to get dinner ready. Also, it looks great built inside the wall with the oven as well.

Came with a new house and the builder used this brand. Looks nice, has a lot of features that honestly we do not use, but it cooks well. Only negative is the control panel blacks out and only shows the clock which looks clean when not using, but it took a little while to learn how to wake up the panel to see the controls. Maybe when you open the door to put something in the panel could wake up? That would be a nice fix.

This microwave came in with my new home in 2016. After 1 year door handle got loosened. In 2019, one side of handle fell down and there is no option to fix it. From inside the door it was completely closed and I don't see an opening to fix the screw. I don't see any option to fix the handle except to buy a new door for 500-600 dollars and fix it without knowing what happens 2-3 years again. Very frustrating and DON'T buy it.

This is a nice looking unit, but the amount of service calls I had in 10 months was excessive. The buttons didn't work, then it stopped turning, then it stopped heating! Electrolux sent me a new one after 10 service calls in 10 months. Fingers crossed that this one holds up.

We bought this with our new house. It works great but all of a sudden the clock face stopped working. It will show numbers when programing but is blank when you go to start it and does not show a count down. Unable to figure out how to fix it yet.

This is a common recurring theme in our neighborhood where the builder used this as the standard appliance package. The door hinge is poorly built and gives up a little after 18 months. Their appliance registration setup is flawed and they conveniently don't find your registration. This means you are on the hook the fix the door. Guess what, there are no part based fixing, the entire door has to be replaced at a measly cost of $900. The microwave itself is half decent but for a flawed door build. Not spending 900+service to getting this fixed. A regular microwave with a trim kit will be south of $500. That is where I am headed.

Door handle came loose within 2-3 months of usage then eventually came appart completely, conveniently right past the 1 year mark. By design, to fasten the screws the entire door has to be replaced at a cost of $850 for part + labor. Would you spend $1,000+ to replace a door when the handle can come loose soon after again?

Like the wall oven, the built-in microwave also could benefit from a more visual control screen versus requiring a touch in specific areas of the screen panel to illuminate the controls. And like the wall oven, the touch sensitive controls are not sensitive enough and often require precise touch and pressure to work.

I bought the Electrolux 30" Built-In Convection Microwave Oven with Drop-Down Door in December 2018 and have been using it since. Super cool looking as a built in wall unit, lots of space on the inside for larger dishes. Kids find it easy to use and especially love the multiple features available on the microwave. We especially like the large ceramic turntable, as compared to glass transparent ones from GE that we have been using for the last 15 years, as it looks and feels a lot stronger and durable. The drop down door is an extremely using feature that we use a lot a a stand for holding dishes, as we are switching dishes in and out of the microwave. We use the "fast recipes", "Fast Features" and "Auto Cook" all the time. Extremely useful and great looking microwave from Electrolux.

Within 3 days, the control panel stopped working. We have several neighbors with the same model who are all having the same problem. Waited two weeks for a repair tech, then waited for parts, which ended up being back ordered. It™™s been a month, and we are now waiting to be scheduled for installation on a replacement. We have no idea when that will happen. I was really excited for all the features in our brand-new, expensive gourmet kitchen, but doesn™™t work.

I purchased this microwave in late November 2018. I was replacing a 7 year old Electrolux built-in that kept blowing a fuse for no apparent reason. I also own a 7 year old Electrolux oven that functions well.I like the features of this unit but it does not work. After using the "Auto Cook" functions, for example "melt, soften", the clock/screen goes blank and the functionality becomes erratic. Sometimes the clock can be brought back to life by resetting it, and other times the microwave must be powered down. I called Electrolux and they sent a technician. The technician confirmed that it did not work. The technician returned three more time to replace electronic components. In each case, the same problem occurred, and after the last replacement the microwave developed other problems. Now it will only operate for one minute at a time. Now it will only operate for one minute at a time. Electrolux sent a replacement microwave. It had the same problem as the first one right out of the box. I asked Electrolux to provide a refund and they refused. They sent a third microwave on 3/22/19 and it again had the same problem as the first two right out of the box so I sent it back.There is clearly a defect in this model and Electrolux has not yet accepted and attempted to fix it. I suspect the firmware has a bug. Clearly Electrolux has not adequately tested this model and they refuse to test one prior to sending it to me. I am confident I could go to a store and replicate the problem in a showroom. A way to cause the problem to occur is to 1) push "melt, soften"; 2) select butter (push "3"), select 1 lb (select "1") and push Start.. Wait (say) 5s and push "Stop". The clock will be blank. If Electrolux would just try this, they would find that they have a problem.I have spoken with Electrolux about 10 times, including supervisors Sharon and Regina. Everyone has been very nice, polite, and apologetic and they are trying to help, but they have refused to let me talk to anyone higher up so far and they keep sending new defective units. It takes me about 3 min to determine that the units don't work. I would expect Electrolux to perform a test before sending me a new unit.My advice is do not purchase this microwave from Electrolux. Given their apparent lack of quality control and customer focus, I will not purchase anything else from Electrolux.

This microwave was a part of the appliances installed by #Lennar in our new home 21015. For the record, we have had multiple problems with several of the kitchen appliances including the dishwasher (replaced 4 electrical control panels before replacing unit), stand-alone ice maker (replaced 2 compressors), refrigerator and the microwave. The handle has been getting looser and looser and it may be only days before it falls off. Initially we looked for screws or bolts to tighten it. Then for tabs that would allow for connector access from the door exterior or interior. This is none. Then we consulted the owners manual and parts list. There was no information on how to tighten the handle. Then we went on-line in search of instructions (written or video) of how to resolve this issue. There were none. Finally we contacted Electrolux and were told the the handle isn™™t listed in the parts list for this appliance and is therefore considered an integrated part of the door. The agent said she had no further information on how to resolve this problem other than to contact a service provider. In searching to see if this occurred elsewhere, common complaints in reviews said the handle becoming loose was a problem and one customer said they were told by a service person there was no way to tighten the handle and the door had to be replaced for $750.00!!! This is crazy and unacceptable. An ™integrated™ part shouldn™™t become loose and if it does, there should be a way to tighten it. A $750 solution for a loose handle is ludicrous. The agent didn™™t seem to care other than to say ™I hear your frustration.™ That™™s the Electrolux brush-off. It™™s obvious they don™™t stand behind their products. There are dozens of people in our development that have had repeated problems with all of their Electrolux appliances. This is obviously a defect in the design or a deliberate example of built-in obsolescence. I wouldn™™t recommend Electrolux or their other brands like Frigidare used to be synonymous for quality but no more. I wouldn™™t recommend their products to anyone and would give zero stars if that were an option.

This microwave came with our new home. We have been here since Novembervand still don™™t have a working microwave. First they blamed the builder and the electrical system. Then said the motherboard was bad. That was replaced and did not work out of the box! Then the builder gave me a new microwave. Same problem. Currently aNew mother board for that is on order. I have asked for a new model but am forced to try yet another mother board.
