Doesnt drain completely

Bad design . A Mildew Magnet Its a great idea but according to the in my opinion completely non-experienced techs reading from scripts LG its normal for there to be some water at the bottom of the machine after a cycle. I had to repeat until I was blue in the face a lot of water that doesnt evaporate even with fans dry climate the top open 24/7 for ONE Month is NOT NORMAL. Mildew city. Clearly the design needs to be rethought with water sensors for appropriate draining.

I love the sidekick pedestal washer-until it broke in April 2024. I called LG to get it serviced under its Home Depot 5-year warranty. They sent a technician on May 2 2024 from Lamb Group Appliance Service in Richmond VA. The tech said it either needs to be replaced with a new one or the sensor boards need to be replaced. All it does is fill with water and overflow no draining. He said someone would be in touch but both my husband and I called and left messages with Lamb Geoup to no reply. They never pick up the phone at Lamb Group so all you can do is leave messages. My husband finally got a text stating that the repair was complete and thanked us for using Asurion on the morning of May 10 2024. If we had questions to call 888-864-0499. The service request was number 1830202431. I called that 888 number the same day on Friday May 10 2024. The customer service manager said we would get an email from another company to give a second opinion. We still have received and/or heard nothing as of May 14 2024. Very poor customer service all around. I think and hope LG can do better than this in the future. I hope my big washer doesnt break or I will likely have to buy a new washer and it wont be LG.

We love our sidekick but the product falls short on the lid. The handle itself is very fragile and this is our second lid replacement which is costly and cannot be purchased from LG. When we contacted LG to find a local LG representative we were provide names of companies that when we called said they do nit service LG products. So we were left finding and researching the internet ourselves. I really expected a better product quality and help from LG on this one considering the rest of our LG products are great.

Great size for small loads

I love the ability to wash small loads using less water The only complaint is the plastic handle. It broke but only after almost 5 years of careful use. Glad I had the warranty Also I leave it open to avoid mold so it has to be kept pulled out.
