purchased this model to replace 6yr old model. the sensor cook no longer worked and it was not worth repairing. microwave works as advertised. fit the space perfectly above the stove. this model is still as noisy as the previous. autodefrost still too strong and long and tends to cook parts of the item being defrosted.

within a year, the door latch broke and it has issues with the "stop/cancel" button. a call to samsung for assistance and i was informed that the product was out of warranty and i'd have to pay out of pocket for any repairs. would not recommend.

We had it for a year. It's okay. Buttons hard to see in a semi dark room. Cannot have the kitchen timer in use and reheat at the same time. I notice the door is starting to get loose. I would have gone to a different model of Samsung.

I had it plugged into my new kitchen, and it didn't heat up. Customer service was great they came to my house to fix the problem but unfortunately when they were putting it back together they didn't enclose the whole microwave. A little upset I spent the money on some thing so high tech and it didn't work. The size of the microwave is great and the design is also beautiful.

I'm very pleased with the easy installation, cooking process, and the look of my new microwave. My only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 star review is that it is very sensitive to the heat from the over and it therefore automatically turns on it's exhaust fan. I wish there was a disable switch for this auto function.

Microwave Broke Right After Warranty Expired

firsthand i learned that samsung is not a reliable brand. shortly after my one-year warranty expired, my microwave broke. out of nowhere, it turned off and never turned back on. these machines were built to break. the estimate for labor and parts to repair the microwave was almost $300. for that price, i might as well buy a new microwave from a reliable brand that should last way longer than just one year.

did a kitchen remodel and replaced my ge with this after 12 years of the ge working flawlessly. this microwave keeps tripping the breakers and i had a duct installed to vent outside. i placed a small piece of toilet paper next to the vent and it would not even hold the toilet paper to the vent. samsung is giving me a store credit but none of the models are available till after january.

I have had this microwave in my new house for almost a year. It's very reliable and also very powerful. In many cases you may need to cut down the recommended times (like when popping popcorn :). My old microwave had a one-button push for minutes, where you could just push "3", for example, and after a few seconds a 3-minute cooking timer would start. This one works differently, so it took some getting used to (you have to punch in 3-0-0, and then Start). The 30-second button comes in handy. Overall, I'm quite happy with it.
